Welcome!

I decided to start this blog because so many people have been posting about their bx error codes that they are getting on the Blogger.com blogs.

Since I am a blog consultant, I have been seeing people post about these bx error codes problems for quite a while now.

First off there are some things that you should know:

  • First if you are one of the many people who are getting the bx-error code screen the first thing that you should do (as I have been told) is to report about the problem on the Blogger Help Groups Discussion Board.

    • 10/19/08 Update!

Blogger.com asks that you should also see if anyone else is having the same bx error code problem. They suggest that you search the Blogger Help Groups for posts that mention the same bx error code that you are getting and that if you don't get any results from that search then you can start a new topic so that you can post about your specific bx error code
  • If you continue to get the bx error code then you should then report it to Blogger.com by filing in a form that they have specifically set aside for reporting the bx error codes.

Update! - According to one of Blogger.com's help message boards - enough people have to report the error before they will assign someone to look into it further!

8/7/08 - Update! - Blogger.com has posted that they want to see how many people report the problem before they assign someone to look into it further.

Please be forewarned though that while Blogger.com appreciates people reporting their bx error code problems they usually only respond IF they need more information from you.

  • While I have also received these bx error codes when working on my own blogs, I have found a way to bypass the bx error code screen. However do not ask me for the bypass procedure. You will have to get that information from Blogger.com

    • I have been told by someone who says that they work closely with the Blogger.com staff that Blogger.com has said that there is no bypass procedure. If this is what they want to believe - then so be it! - unfortunately for them!!

So if you contact Blogger.com to ask them for the bypass procedure and they tell you that there is no such thing, then its up to you to decide what you are going to do next!

*

This "welcome" Message will stay at the top

of this blog for the time being.

November 2008 Update!

It turns out that I had been RIGHT all along! Blogger.com has mentioned the bypass procedure on one of their posts so they DO know that some of the bx error codes can be bypassed!

How do I know this? One of the Blogger.com employees has posted about it in the Blogger Help Message Boards!

So if you would like to know if the bypass procedure will be able to solve your bx error code problem (and it does NOT solve ALL of the bx error code problems - just some of them) just be sure to ask the Blogger.com staff for the bypass procedure.

January 2009 Update!

I should also mention too that not once have I had to either clear my cookies or cache and / or restart my browser to get out of the bx error code screen!

Someone posted asking about this particular bx error code. There's not much information about this specific bx error code. One person said that when they tried to add an url that is when they got this bx error code.

So maybe by posting this error code here, someone may see and be able to help.

pleasse tell me how to solve it.

This bx error code hasn't been mentioned before and I tried to do some research on it but I didn't come up with much information which means that other people haven't been reporting this particular bx error code.

What you may want to do is to report it to blogger.com as they say they are always interested in finding out about the newer bx error codes that everyone is getting. You can find a link for reporting bx error codes to blogger on the right side of this blog.

bx-eticv7

"Whenever I try to view my blog posts the page ends up with an error bx-eticv7. I only installed a linkwithin widget....Thats it"

I did some checking around and could not find this specific bx error code mentioned. But I'm sure that you are not the only one who has gotten it.

You mentioned installing a widget and sometimes these widgets are not comparable with the template guidelines of your blog - so that could be the culprit.

The only things that I can suggest to maybe solve the problem is for you to wait a few days and see if you are still getting the problem and if you are then report it. Another option would be for you to go over the coding of this widget to see if you can "tweak" it to match your blog's guidelines. Maybe you can contact the creator of this widget and tell them about the problem that you are having and they may be able to help you with it.

bx-nrrrss

mine is bx-nrrrss. I don't know what happen. Could you help me out?

From what I can find out this specific bx error code has to do with your blog template.

So many times a blogger will add a new template for their blog but that template's coding does not fit in with Blogger.com.

Did you make this template yourself or did you use someone else's template? If you used another person's template then you should contact them and tell them your problem.

If you made the template yourself then you are going to have to go through the coding of the template to see what is wrong.

Someone posted a comment about this particular bx error code and since it wasn't already on my blog I decided to make a completely new post about this particular bx error code.

It seems that a lot of people have been posting about this particular bx error code and the cause of it is varied. Some people have posted that they got this error code when they were trying to do some editing to their blog and one person posted that they got this bx error code because others couldn't comment on their blog.

Now I know that a lot of people use their blogs to make money so this is probably a very important thing to be able to solve.

When bx error codes are this complicated and when you get the same bx error code for different problems the solution(s) is not easy!

The best thing that I can tell you to do is to wait a few days to see if this problem clears up by itself. If it doesn't then you should probably contact Blogger.com and inform them of the problem. They always say that they would appreciate it if you let them know of any problems that you are having - especially when it concerns bx error codes.

You can find a link to contact them on the right side of this blog.

hi dude. have re design a lot of my template HTML.. anyway got 1 problerm there. i can add link list weidget, but after that i cant see / delete widget / edit link list. And just apear bX-r4hu53. Can u help me?

I did a little checking around on the internet and found that this particular bx error code has been posted about before. Some people like you have posted that this bx error code showed up when they were editing their blog widgets. But people have also been posting that they have received this bx error code when they tried to upload a post, another blogger posted that they got this same bx error code when they were trying to upload a new blog template.

I seem to remember getting a bx error code when I was messing around with my blog widget but I was able to get back to my blog page by using the bypass procedure.

Blogger.com has said that a lot of these bx error codes are temporary and it would help if you post back to say whether or not you are still receiving this specific bx error code.

bx-mmk9u6

Oh, thank's god i found your blog, hey, i've been checking it on you bx error list, i don't know whether this is new or i've just miss-seen it, i've got bX-mmk9u6 uh, can anyone tell me how do i solve this, since this is quite an urgent, it's a college work actually. I've got this bx error when i was trying to submit the changes of my 'about me' data, but then the error came, sucks really.. I hope someone could help me? or is it better if i make another new.. Q3Q Thank you very much

I don't think that it will help to make another new blog because you will still be able to get these bx error codes. Just because you start a new blog doesn't mean that you will be immune to getting these bx error codes.

As I have said before Blogger.com has said that a lot of these bx error codes are temporary so you may want to give it a little time.

I do know that a lot of people use their blogs to try to make money and in your case you are using your blog as something college-related.

If you still continue to get the bx error code then you should report it to Blogger.com by using the link that is provided on the left side of this blog.

While I know that a lot of people are trying to use their blogs to be able to earn money online, I know that it is important to them to be able to access their blogs easily.

I did a little checking online and I found out that this particular bx error code has been posted about before - again with the same issue of people having problems logging into their blogs and they are receiving this specific bx error code.

Blogger.com has said that a lot of these bx error codes are temporary so by the time that you read this blog post the problem may have solved itself and you're able to log in to your blog now.

However if you are still getting this bx error code then you should contact blogger - as they have said that they are very interested in the kinds of bx error codes that people are getting.

I can't truly, honestly say whether or not the bypass procedure would work in this situation because I haven't had any problems logging in yet.

bx-nq4rij

I received the following comment:

"I got error code bX-nq4rij when I tried to follow a blog on my blogger dashboard. I don't see this error on your list. Any ideas?"

I did a little searching on this bx error code and strangely enough there were some links to other posts from people who were getting this same bx error code BUT all of these posts were not in English - in other words I couldn't find any posts in English about this particular bx error code.

It might help if you went into a little bit more detail about what it is your were trying to do when you got this bx error code?

"When followers try to add me they get this message"

This bx error code has been posted about since earlier this year. It's too bad that the person who asked about this particular bx error code didn't leave a link to their blog. That way I could have tested it out myself to see if there was still a problem with visitors who tried to become followers of their blog.

So far I haven't received this particular error code my myself so I couldn't tell you whether or not the bypass procedure would work here.

It seems that this bx-error code is occuring when people try to log in to their blog(s).

So far I haven't had this problem yet because I have been able to successfully log on into my own The Adsense Consultant.

So far this specific bx error code has been getting a lot of negative comments such as:

Google better give compensation to those negatively affected by this, and no, I believe getting this done fast (whatever your definition of "fast" is) is not nearly enough, especially when considering it's one of the largest and most profitable companies in the world.

This particular bx error code seems to have hit it's peak during the last 2 weeks. Hopefully Blogger.com has solved the problem by now. However if you are still getting this bx error code then you can either try to contact Blogger.com to see what is going on and if the problem is not solved then you can ask them to give you the bypass procedure so hopefully you will be able to access your blog again.

Like I have said before I haven't personally experienced this particular bx error code as of yet.

Someone sent a comment asking:

"please what ? bX-68bcla (from up file xml 95MB)"

I checked this blog to see if this bx error code had already been posted but it has not been posted about.

I did some searching and couldn't find any more information about this particular bx error code.

The first thought that occurred to me was that maybe the file size was too big but I really can not say for sure.

So if anyone else has any experience with this particualr bx error code, please be sure to leave a comment.

Apparently this bx error code has to do with importing a Wordpress blog template.

There have been many others who are getting this particular bx error code when trying to import.

The only solution that I can (as of now) is that there is some sort of coding in the template that you are trying to import that is interfering with you being able to import the template properly.

You will have to get someone to go over and check the coding of your template to see where the problem lies.

Are You Having Problems Importing A Different Template To Your Blogger.com Blog?

I recently got an email from someone who was having problems importing a blog template. He wanted to know what could be done and how could the problem be solved?

My only answer to this is that you will have to go through the entire coding of your xml template! This is the only way that I know of to solve the problem. And even then you still may not be able to use the template because it may be possible that you won't be able to "crack" the coding that will enable you to be able to import the template.

I have 2 blogs set up specifically for this. One blog is called The Different Blog Layouts Blog where I test different blog layouts and blog about my progress with them.

The second blog that I have is called The Test Blog where I test different blog layouts, widgets and other blog options.

I have managed to be able to import some difficult blog templates but I haven't been successful 100% of the time (though I am working on this - LOL!)

So if you are having problems importing a blog template to your blog then you may just have to go through the entire coding!

bx-4nvkja

"I am hopeful to see your BX-error code blog, it will help a lots of people like me.

I have found a error code bx-4nvkja(can't delete a previous post) and there is no solution in google search for this error. I will be very happy if you provide a solution to this error and also include it in your blog. Thanks in advance.
"

I did a little checking on this bx error code myself just to see what is going on and it seems to be a fairly recent bx error code (it being posted about within the last 2 months).

This could be one of those temporary bx error codes that Blogger.com is always talking about and if that is the case you may want to wait a few days just to see if the problem solves itself. If you need help with your blog you may want to ask a professional to help you with your blog.

I have found that in instances like this I have used the bypass procedure to help me with being able to delete any blog posts or comments that I have wanted to delete. As a matter of fact I had no problems with deleting a comment on one of my blogs today.

If you haven't found a solution and really want to get working on your blog then you should really contact Blogger.com and report this bx error code to them so at least they will be made aware of it so that they can work on solving it.

bX-p45270

"I'm trying to import converted XML from my Wordpress blog to Blogger but keep getting a message that says

"Sorry, the import failed due to a server error. The error code is bX-p45270"

after a bit of uploading. Any advice would be super appreciated, as I didn't see this error code in your blog.
"

You are right that this particular bx error code hasn't been mentioned on this blog yet simply because I haven't encountered it yet but thank you for bringing it to my attention.

First off this could be one of the temporary bx error codes - meaning it might be one of the new ones so you might want to give it some time to see if the problem goes away.

If that doesn't work you can always report the bx error code to Blogger.com by clicking on the link that is provided on the side of this blog.

It has been my experience that the bx error codes that have to do with importing involve there being some kind of mistake in the coding of the blog template that you want to import. I have a blog called Different Blog Layouts where I try importing different blog templates that I like and I have encountered this kind of problem before. Sometimes I have been able to solve the problem by "tweaking" or messing with the coding myself and sometimes that will solve the problem so that may be something that you will want to try yourself.

A lot could depend upon where you got the template from. A lot of times the people who have created these blog templates will have a site where they talk about their blog templates and note any errors or problems that may happen when people try to use them - so if that is the case with you you can try and contact the person who created the template and ask about the problem(s) that you are having with it.

Hopefully you will re-read this blog post again because you may have to go into the coding of your blog and "tweak" it so that it adheres to the blogger.com template code guidelines.

I will admit that it is not an easy thing to do - going over coding - but it may be the only way to solve your problem.
