Me And The BX Error Codes!

I haven't gotten any bx error codes in the last few weeks. I have managed to successfully upload a short 5 second .avi video and I have also managed to upload pictures successfully to my and my clients' blogs.

Actually to tell you the truth I get quite excited when I DO get one of those bx error codes because it gives me a chance to see if the bypass procedure will work!

Every time I have gotten a bx error code in the last several months I have managed to get out of it one way or another.

So it possible to do so.

The next time that I get a bx error code message I will post about it here.

BX Error Codes - Latestest Poll Results!

Here are the latest poll results from my The Blog Consultant Blog asking for people's opinions on why Blogger.com doesn't know about the bypass procedure.

As you can see a majority of the people who have voted have said that there is no bypass procedure and of course the most likely reason for them voting this way is because they don't know what the bypass procedure is.

I have posted many times on this blog about when the bypass procedure has worked for me when I have gotten some of the bx error codes. I have even had one person say to me that (in their opinion) Blogger.com already knows about the bypass procedure but they aren't telling the bloggers (or anyone else) about it!

It has been brought to my attention that this kind of situation can be compared to Microsoft in that when they are bugs to be fixed, the solutions are provided by those other than the people that work at Microsoft!

There have been a couple of votes who think that Blogger.com knows about the bypass procedure and either they are not providing it or that they don't care!

You still have some time left to vote in this poll and let your opinion be known!

Well I Have Been Blogging Like Crazy Today!

I have been blogging like crazy today! Both on some of my own and some of my clients blogs as well!

I have been creating new posts, editing old ones and adding pictures to some of the blog posts.

Thank goodness that I haven't had any bx error code problems so far and I haven't had to use the bypass procedure once today!

bx-d3so7

I got this bx error code when changing from my blogger account to a client's blogger account. I thought 'what a great time to use the bypass procedure to get out of the error code screen' - but guess what?

The bypass procedure didn't work!

Now I was using a different browser that I never used the bypass procedure on before so I decided to try it again and still it didn't work! But guess what?

I was still able to get back to posting on my client's blog!

Not only does this tell me that the bypass procedure doesn't seem to work in all browsers (or all cases) but there is more than one way to get out of the bx error code screen!

This is the 2nd solution that I have found for getting out of the bx error code screen (and another person has posted yet another solution for the bx error code problem!)yet and still Blogger.com has not mentioned either of these methods!

I find it so hard to believe that Blogger.com isn't aware of these 2 simple methods for getting out of the bx error code screens. Although in their defense it may just be a case of them being too close to the problem and not being able to see the forest for the trees!

8/31/08 - Update! - got this same bx error code today! And while it wasn't the bypass procedure that got me back to working on the blog there was a way that I managed to get back to my Blogger.com dashboard so that I could add a new post!

"There Is NO Bypass System For The BX Error Code Screen!"

I was going over some of my notes today and noticed that I got a reply from someone saying that there is no bypass procedure for the bx error code screen.

Unfortunately they are wrong in this respect. I have been using the bypass procedure for the past few months now whenever I get one of those dreaded bx error code screens! I haven't gotten the bx error code screen for a few weeks now and I'm wondering if I should try to get one of them on purpose just to make sure that the bypass procedure works.

So far it has worked whenever I get the bx error code screen message when I'm trying to post to my blog, add pictures to my blog or do some editing to the widgets and page elements that I have on my blogs. I also use the bypass procedure when I'm working on my clients' blogs as well!

I have to say that some of the more recent bx error code problems that people are posting about have to do with uploading their images - which I don't have ANY problems with now - and uploading their videos.

I tried uploading a video to my Test Blog and while it took a while to upload the video it did finally upload.

The recent problems that Blogger.com has been having with people posting and saying that their blogs were false-ly accussed of being a spam blog has been acknowledged by Blogger.com and they say that they are currently working on the problem. - This is one situation where I know that the bypass procedure won't work - but really I can't say for sure 'cause I didn't try it on that when one of my client's blog was flagged as a spam blog. - (my client's blog has since been restored!_

I really have to smile when some "expert" tells me that there is no bypass procedure for getting out of (some of) the bx error code screens because I use it EVERYTIME I get one of those bx error code screens.....

AND IT WORKS EVERYTIME!

BX Error Codes - Whose Fault Are They?

Here is a reply that I posted on one of the "help boards:

It's not really anyone's "fault". Glitches and the like occur all the
time on the internet. Recent articles have said that the bx error
codes could be the fault of Blogger.com, one's computer and even one's
server so there could be more than just one reason as to why you are
getting one of the bx error code messages.

As I have said before Blogger.com has said that a lot of these bx
error codes are temporary which means that you may want to give it a
few days to see if the problem solves itself.

However if you continue to get the error code you can report it to
Blogger.com by clicking on "Resources" on the right side of this page
and that will take you to a link where you can report your bx error
code problem. When enough people report it then Blogger.com will
assign someone to look into it further.

If you take a look at some of the previous posts you will see that a
lot of people have been posting about the bx error codes that they
have been getting and while I'm sure that they would love to have
their bx error code problem solved asap it may not happen that fast.
You have to realize that you're not the only one(s) who is getting one
of the bx error codes and there are probably some people "ahead" of
you in that they have reported their bx error code problem before you.

You should keep in contact with Blogger.com's official blog where they
post about the errors that they have fixed so far - and hopefully
yours will be amongst them.

Poll Results So Far - BX Error Code Problem!

Here are the latest poll results:

Were You Able To Solve

Your BX Error Code Problem?

As you can see from the poll results so far there have been a majority of voters who have said that they have not been able to solve their bx error code problem! There is also one vote from someone who voted that they were able to solve their bx error code problem and there is another vote from someone who wants to know what a bx error code is. (That will be the subject of one of my future posts.

Replying To "Older" Messages?

It seems that it is not a total loss when I reply to older posts from people who have been having problems with those bx error codes.

I seem to be getting a lot more messages and comments from those who are thanking me for answering their posts - although some consider it fruitless to answer the older posts.

It just seems to me that when there is a post that has no replies to it - it just looks like no one has cared to reply - which is sort of a bad reflection on Blogger.com - in my honest opinion!
