Welcome!

I decided to start this blog because so many people have been posting about their bx error codes that they are getting on the Blogger.com blogs.

Since I am a blog consultant, I have been seeing people post about these bx error codes problems for quite a while now.

First off there are some things that you should know:

  • First if you are one of the many people who are getting the bx-error code screen the first thing that you should do (as I have been told) is to report about the problem on the Blogger Help Groups Discussion Board.

    • 10/19/08 Update!

Blogger.com asks that you should also see if anyone else is having the same bx error code problem. They suggest that you search the Blogger Help Groups for posts that mention the same bx error code that you are getting and that if you don't get any results from that search then you can start a new topic so that you can post about your specific bx error code
  • If you continue to get the bx error code then you should then report it to Blogger.com by filing in a form that they have specifically set aside for reporting the bx error codes.

Update! - According to one of Blogger.com's help message boards - enough people have to report the error before they will assign someone to look into it further!

8/7/08 - Update! - Blogger.com has posted that they want to see how many people report the problem before they assign someone to look into it further.

Please be forewarned though that while Blogger.com appreciates people reporting their bx error code problems they usually only respond IF they need more information from you.

  • While I have also received these bx error codes when working on my own blogs, I have found a way to bypass the bx error code screen. However do not ask me for the bypass procedure. You will have to get that information from Blogger.com

    • I have been told by someone who says that they work closely with the Blogger.com staff that Blogger.com has said that there is no bypass procedure. If this is what they want to believe - then so be it! - unfortunately for them!!

So if you contact Blogger.com to ask them for the bypass procedure and they tell you that there is no such thing, then its up to you to decide what you are going to do next!

This "welcome" Message will stay at the top

of this blog for the time being.

November 2008 Update!

It turns out that I had been RIGHT all along! Blogger.com has mentioned the bypass procedure on one of their posts so they DO know that some of the bx error codes can be bypassed!

How do I know this? One of the Blogger.com employees has posted about it in the Blogger Help Message Boards!

So if you would like to know if the bypass procedure will be able to solve your bx error code problem (and it does NOT solve ALL of the bx error code problems - just some of them) just be sure to ask the Blogger.com staff for the bypass procedure.

January 2009 Update!

I should also mention too that not once have I had to either clear my cookies or cache and / or restart my browser to get out of the bx error code screen!

  1. Hey thanks for dropping a comment about the blogger bX error. I'm going to make it my business to visit some of the blogs you have when I get time (lol). Some of them sound interesting. I think I visited your AdSense blog sometime ago.

  3. I am sick of Blogger. This problem has been going on for months now. I have reported the error codes to the help group on numerous occasions. I have reported it to Blogger on numerous occasions. I remember reading your post replying to my post wherein I had complained about how hard it is to contact Blogger. I still don’t know how to contact Blogger. It’s gotten so bad that I haven’t felt like updating my blog in a long long time. I did however, set up a Wordpress Blog and have started to move stuff over there. I think Blogger’s lack of response to this problem is just ridiculous.

  4. Thank you for the compliment about this blog.

According to Blogger.com they seem to think that it's a waste of time collecting the various and different bx error codes - so that is one of the reasons that I decided to do it!

  5. Well there seem to be a lot of people getting frustated at not being able to contact Blogger.com. I have seen some Blogger.com employees respond to posts on the help boards and they have solved problems that have been posted - if only a few - but that's better than nothing.

I just don't see why they don't provide people with the bypass information. It seems to me that it would be a lot more helpful if Blogger.com would just provide the bloggers with the information that they need to get out of the bx error code screen. I have done it everytime I get one of those dreaded bx error code screens and so far I have NOT had any problems.

I have also noticed that someone else has come up with yet another way to get out of the bx error code screen - but unlike me - they have kept their mouths shut about it.

We are all just going to have to see how far Blogger.com will go until they actually do something about it.

  6. You mentioned that you have provided the bypass procedure? When did this happen. I never noticed it.

  7. Actually I mentioned that I found a way to get out of the bx error code screen but I wrongly assumed that Blogger.com already knew about it!

Since I mentioned it I have been informed that Blogger.com says that there is no bypass procedure - of course they are wrong and they don't seem to realize that.

  8. Well why don't you provide the by-pass procedure then?

    ReplyDelete
  9. You have to get the bypass procedure from Blogger.com and if they say that there is none - then they are wrong!

Have you asked Blogger.com for the bypass procedure?

  10. I have tried and tried to contact Blogger.com but I have no idea how! I have started to move my site over to Wordpress. I thought that if Blogger was to smarten up I could continue with them. That has not happened.

At the top of this blog post you will see where I have provided a link for bloggers to click on that will take them to a Blogger.com form where they can report the problem(s) that they are having.

Just scroll up and read the post and you will find the link that will take you to the form.

I can appreciate the fact that having the problem may hurt your blog but you haven't even mentioned what you were trying to do to your blog in the first place. I really don't know how you could expect someone to help you with solving the problem when we don't know exactly how you got to the problem in the first place.

My bypass procedure has solved all of my bx error code problems so far. From time to time I will do a little testing - which means that I try to get a bx error code on purpose just to see if the bypass procedure continues to work and I have not been disappointed yet.

If you can not get the bypass procedure from Blogger.com then only you can decide what you are going to do next! You can only get the bypass procedure from Blogger.com and if they say that there is no such thing - then it is up to you as to what you are going to do next!

  14. It doesn't sound like you actually know a bypass procedure. Otherwise, you would share it. I think you're just trying to sound smart so you can make a little adsense money trying to sound like a consultant, all the while you're just getting ready for your next shift at the quickie-mart.

  15. I know that this is going to dissappoint you but I work from home as a consultant.

And you and I are not seeing this the same way. It's not up to me to tell you what the bypass procedure is because it is up to Blogger.com to tell their bloggers what the bypass procedure is.

  16. Wow! Thank you so much for all the information about the blogger error messages!

  17. I can't help but notice that you don't actually provide solution to the bX problems here. Of course your efforts to acquaint us with means to contacting blogger are no less helpful. Won't it do us good though if you could write about the actual bypass procedure?

    Keep up the good work!

  18. You're very welcomed! These bx error codes are quite annoying! Fortunately I have been able to solve the ones that I have gotten for some time now - Thank Goodness!

  19. I cannot believe you go on so much about a bypass procedure and yet you do not provide it?!
yet you come out with the weakest argument ever by saying it is up to blogger to provide it?
why is it up to them to provide it??
Look into net history and such...so many times a vulnerablity has been found in say...a microsoft product. the exploit is given out by a security firm, to microsoft to begin with. A lot of times MS will do nothing or even deny it is real. Eventually the security firm will then go public as they are doing what is in the best interests of the users.
you on the other hand are not.
Don't try and say it is up to blogger to do it.
If you have help, give it otherwise you are just a scam artist getting helpless people here under false pretences whilst you gain adsense cash.
    You ought to be ashamed!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I do not agree with you.

As long as the bypass procedure keeps working for me I will continue to post about it.

And it really is up to Blogger.com to provide the solution.

  21. can you help me with the bX-qm5h6h error? I would be very thanksful!

    Cheerio

  22. What rubbish - as someone else said you're simply dropping the term "bx bypass procedure" to try and get a higher page rank = adsense money.

You obviously have no interest in helping people/fellow bloggers.

    ReplyDelete
  23. My answer is very simple - if you don't want to believe that there is a bx error code bypass procedure then you just be my guest!

  24. For me this worked: "check the setting of your comments... if your old blog have comments on it and you try to import it you must check show comments on your new blog... because if you enable hide comments the comment from your old blog will not be imported..that cause error..."
