here is another bx error code that was gotten when trying to add the Adsense ads gadget to one's Blogger.com blog.

Unfortunately you can't remove a bx error code (although you may be able to bypass it).

I have seen one of the Blogger.com employees post that sometimes when these bx error codes have to do with adding Adsense to one's blog that the solution may probably be that you have to give Blogger.com permission to add the Adsense ad code(s) to your blog.

bX-boj299 - The ByPass Procedure Has Worked Again!

Here is a bx error code that I got today! It happened when I was trying to log in to my Blogger.com account!

As the error screen suggested, I did a search for the above bx error code and no related searches could be found!

So I entered the bypass procedure and as you can see I'm able to post a new entry to my blog!

this bx error code has been associated with trying to add the Adsense gadget to one's blog. It seems as though when trying to add adsense the blogger has to log in again and type in their account details and after that information has been typed in and the blogger tries to sign in, they get the above bx error code.

I have posted before that I have seen one of the Blogger.com employees post that when some of these bx error codes had to do with adding Adsense to one's blog, the problem (and solution) could be that the blogger hasn't yet given Blogger.com permission to add their adsense coding to their blogs and that needs to be done first before the Adsense codes can be added.

Please look on the right side of this blog and you will see a link where you can report your bx error code problem.

this is another bx error code that has been associated with trying to add a gadget to one's Blogger.com blog. In this particular case the gadget was the "Adsense" gadget.

As I have said many times before - when these bx error codes have to do with adding the Adsense gadget, I have seen one of the Blogger.com employees post that the problem could lie in the fact that you haven't yet given Blogger.com permission to access your Adsense account.

You have to do that before you can add the Adsense via the "Add Gadgets" option.

Someone posted that they got this bx error code when they were trying to post a comment to one of their own posts.

Like I have said many times before, Blogger.com has said that a lot of these bx error codes are temporary so you may want to give it a few days to see if the problem solves itself.

If you continue to get the bx error code then you should do a search for it and see if anyone else has posted about it - and hopefully provided a solution for it as well!

If you still continue to have the problem then you can start a thread about your particular bx error code on the Blogger.com help groups. Again, hopefully someone may be able to help you.

If that doesn't help then you can report your bx error code problem to the Blogger.com staff by clicking on the link that is provided on the right side of this blog - called - Report Your BX Error Code Problem Here!

I have posted many times and said that when enough people report the specific bx error code then Blogger.com will assign someone to look into it further - but I have since seen it posted elsewhere that there is probably not a bx error code that the Blogger.com staff don't know about.

this is a bx error code that has been associated with trying to log in to one's blog account on Blogger.com (and if you're wondering why I type in Blogger.com specifically it is because the bx error codes have - so far only been associated with the Blogger.com blogs).

For one thing this could be one of the many temporary bx error codes that has been mentioned by the Blogger.com staff - meaning you might want to give it some time to see if the problem solves itself.

However if you continue to get the same bx error code then you can report it to Blogger.com by clicking on the link on the left side of this blog - the link that says Report Your BX Error Code Here!.

Someone posted that they got this bx error code when they were trying to upload a new template to their blog. Below is the reply that I gave them:

Well of course, hopefully you know that when you change a blog's template with a third-party template you will lose your widgets - (hopefully you have saved them so that you can use them over again)

As far as the bx error code goes is this a different blog template
that you are using that you never used before?

The usual reason for someone getting a bx error code when it has to do
with changing one's template has to do with the template itself being
corrupt or missing some coding in it. - unfortunately this means that
you will have to check the coding of the template and try to find the
errors.

this is a bx error code that is associated with trying to either create or edit one's blogger.com profile.

Hopefully there is a fix on the way.

However it has been some time since this type of bx error code has been reported / posted about.

Most of the current bx error codes being mentioned have to do with adding a third-party template or being able to publish a new blog entry.

this is another bx error code that has been associated with having trouble publishing to one's blog. In other words, you add a new post to your blog but you are not able to "publish" (add) it to your blog!

this bx error code is associated with not being able to add Adsense ads to one's blog.

(If you don't know what the Adsense program is just visit my Adsense Consultant's Blog)

It has been suggested by one of the Blogger.com employees that you first try clearing your cache and cookies and then re-starting your browser. A lot of people have posted that this has worked for them.

Also some of the bx error codes that have been associated with being able to add Adsense to one's blog have to do with the fact that you may not have given Blogger.com permission to add the Adsense ads for you.

this is another bx error code that has been associated with templates. However in this one particular case the person was trying to revert back to their original blogger.com template and they got this bx error code.

even though the person posted that they did save a copy of their original template, one of the most likely culprits of getting this bx error code is because their is missing or corrupt coding and or the original template was copied and pasted wrong.

Originally the person that posted about this bx error code didn't say what they were doing when the got this error code so I decided to look around and see what I could find out about this particular bx error code!

It seems that this bx error code is associated with trying to add widgets / gadgets - mostly to the bottom - to one's blog!

Now I have received bx error codes when I was trying to add gadgets to the bottom of different / third-party templates (mostly with my Different Blog Layouts Blog. And the problem was that some of these particular templates would not allow for one to add any "footergadgets / widgets because there was no footer in those particular templates! And I am assuming that that was the reason why I was getting those bx error codes!

Solution? - to make sure that your template allows for add gadgets / widgets to the footer of your blog!

I have had this kind of problem when trying to add a footer gadget to my Different Blog Layouts Blog and the reason I found for getting one of those bx error codes was because the blog template that I was using (at the time) didn't provide for adding gadgets to the footer (or bottom) of the blog.

The ByPass Procedure - Actually I Think Blogger.com Already Knows It, But.......

I really don't think that THEY know it!

I say this because I have seen the blogger.com employees post on more than one post about how there are some techniques that could possible help one get past the bx error code screen with some of the bx error code numbers.

I guess it just must be a case of them being too close to the problem - therefore not being able to see it

or

it could just be a simple case of them wanting people to report the bx error codes that they are getting so that they can work on solving them.

And there is also a 3rd alternative - where someone posted that it may be a simple fact that Blogger.com is working on a way to solve ALL of the bx error code problems so that they won't be an issue anymore.

Unfortunately for right now there are still a lot of bx error codes that are still being reported about!

Were You Able To Solve Your BX Error Code Problem?

Here are the latest poll results! As you can see, the majority of people who have voted have said that they were NOT able to solve their bx error code problem!

Blogger.com has said that a lot of these bx error codes are temporary and one of the best pieces of advice that I can give you is to wait a few days and see if the bx error code problem solves itself.

This may not be much comfort for those that want to be able to work on their blogs right away but so far this is one of the solutions that Blogger.com has provided. Actually this is one of the first steps in the process of trying to be able to solve one's bx error code problem.

  • If after waiting a while and you still have the bx error code then Blogger.com suggests that you search for your particular bx error code to see if anyone else has reported and/or posted about it. If you can't find any more information on your particular bx error code then you can start a thread about it on the Blogger.com message boards - hopefully someone may have the solution.

  • If you get no response or solution from your post then you can report your bx error code problem to Blogger.com by clicking on the link "Report Your BX Error Code Problem, that is provided on the right side of this blog. this is another bx error code that has been associated with trying to upload a template. When clicking on the upload button this is (one of ) the bx error code that comes up.

Here is a link to my previous blog posts about bx error codes having to do with uploading a new template.

As I have said before the problem may be that the template that you are trying to upload has missing and / or corrupt coding in it and that is why it is not being accepted. It may become necessary for you to have to go through the entire coding of the template to see if you can spot what the problem is.

It would also help if you mentioned the name of the third-party template that you were trying to upload / use and where you got it from. Someone else may have had the same problem and hopefully managed to solve it.

If you still feel that the template is not the problem then you can report your bx error code to Blogger.com by clicking on the link provided on the left side of this blog, "Report Your BX Error Code Here!

bx-nlqog

Here is a comment that someone left me on this blog. Since this bx error code hasn't been posted on this blog, now would be a good time to give it its own label!

"I found your blog quite interesting for the bx error.
I just started a new blog and I have a bx error!!
I didn't find my error on your blog so I put it here.
My error is bx-nlqog

The error happened when I changed my blog template. And it's always the same error.

I don't really know what to do !!

The usual reason for getting a bx error code when it involves templates is that there is the possibility that the template that you are trying to use has some missing or corrupted coding on it and that is why you are having the problems as far as the bx error code is concerned.

It may become necessary for you to go through that template's coding to see if you can spot where the error(s) are.

As far as third-party templates go a lot of credit has to go to those who have created them because a lot of them provide helpful and useful information to those who are having problems using their template. The original creators of the templates have graciously gave grant to others to use their templates for free and without costing them any money - so they really should be thanked for that! (This is also meant for you to go back to the site where you got the template to see if you can find any additional information or see if anyone else has been having problems with using that same template.)

Unfortunately one of the only real solutions is for you to find out why the template that you want to use is not being accepted and that's going to mean going through the template's coding to find any errors. I, myself have gotten bx error codes when working with different blog templates - mostly on my Different Blog Layouts Blog. But when it has happened to me I have successfully managed to use the bypass procedure. However the bypass procedure doesn't let a corrupt template go through - it just lets you be able to work on your blog so that you can perhaps correct the error or use another template.

If all else fails you can report the bx error code to Blogger.com. You can find the link by looking on the right side of this blog!

"How Can I Fix My BX Error Code Problem?"

Again this question has been asked and again here is a reply that I posted in response to it:

There have been numerous suggestions as to how to "fix" the bx error codes problem.

One popular suggestion is for you to clear both your cache and cookies and then reload your browser - some people have posted that this has worked for them.

When some of these bx error codes have to do with adding / modifying coding - a likely cause could be that the coding is corrupt or missing or that you possibly copied and pasted it wrong.

From what I understand Blogger.com has said that a lot of these bx error codes are temporary so you may want to wait and give it a few days to see if the problem solves itself.

Next they would like you to do a search for the bx error code that you are getting - hopefully someone else has posted about it (and hopefully have provided a solution).

If you can find anything during your search then you can start a thread about the specific bx error code and post about it.

Then if all else fails you can then report the bx error code problem to Blogger.com by clicking on "Resources" on the right side of this page and that will take you to a link where you can report the bx error code problem that you are having.

When enough people report it then Blogger.com will assign someone to look into it further.

a blogger posted that they got this bx error code when they were trying to preview a template that they uploaded.

Most likely the culprit is that the template that was uploaded had some corrupt and / or missing coding in it. It may become necessary for you to go through the entire template's coding just to see if you can find the corrupted or missing coding.

I got this bx error code when I was making changes to one of my blog templates. After I got the bx error code I tried the bypass procedure even though I knew it didn't work with problems relating to third-party templates being accepted.

But guess what? It worked! The changes that I made to my template were actually published and now viewable in my blog!

For some time now I have been blogging about the bypass procedure not actually being able to work when the problem has to do with one's template being accepted - although it does still let you work on your blog......

but it definitely worked this time!

There could be a lot of reasons for this kind of thing happening and one of those could be that it is only a temporary kind of problem - meaning that you should wait a while and see if you are able to do it at a later time.

If not then one of the first things that Blogger.com suggest you do is to do a search for this particular bx error code in the Blogger Help Group to see if anyone else has posted about this particular bx error code. this bx error code was posted about when someone was trying to edit the layout on one of their blogs.

The problem could lie in the fact that when you were trying to edit your blog's layout you corrupted the coding of the coding in some way.

Me And The BX Error Codes!

I haven't gotten any bx error codes in the last few weeks. I have managed to successfully upload a short 5 second .avi video and I have also managed to upload pictures successfully to my and my clients' blogs.

Actually to tell you the truth I get quite excited when I DO get one of those bx error codes because it gives me a chance to see if the bypass procedure will work!

Every time I have gotten a bx error code in the last several months I have managed to get out of it one way or another.

bX-nxiwqe

a blogger posted that they got this bx error code when they were trying to upload a third-party blog template to use as their own.

There have been quite a few bx error codes having to do with this kind of thing and as I have said before the problem could lie within the template's coding itself. The most probable reason is that the template has some missing or corrupted coding in it.

It may become necessary for you to go through the entire template coding to see if you can find the problem.

A lot of these third-party template sites will have comments from others who have also tried using the template and have encounter problems doing so - so you should re-visit the page where you got the template to see if there is any related information about other people having problems with using it.

As I have posted on this blog before about the bypass procedure - it does not solve the problem of not being able to upload a possible corrupted third-party blog template. When I have received a bx error code when trying to upload a new template - mostly to my Different Blog Layouts Blog the bypass procedure doesn't allow for the third-party template to be accepted however it does allow me to work on my blog - thus allowing me to make changes and possibly see how I can correct the problems on the blog template so that it can be accepted by Blogger.com!

bX-tu3f3q

"When I try to log in I get this message: bX-tu3f3q Anyone have any ideas of what this means and how I can over ride it to log in?"

Simply put it means that you are getting one of the "infamous" bx error codes! It just simply means that something went wrong when you were trying to do something with your blog - in your specific case you got this bx error code when you were trying to log in.

A LOT of people have been getting bx error codes (that's one of the reasons why I decided to start this blog) so you are not alone in getting them!

Generally speaking you cannot "override a bx error code! Although there have been some people who have posted different solutions to different bx error code problems, there is not one way to over-ride ALL bx error codes!

Blogger.com has said that a lot of these bx error codes are temporary so you may want to wait a few days to see if the problem solves itself.

One of the most often-giving suggestions for a solution (suggested by one of the Blogger.com employees) is that you first try to clear your cache and cookies and then re-start your browser. A lot of people have posted that this has worked for them.

If these solutions haven't solved your problem then the next that Blogger.com suggests that you do is to do a search for your specific bx error - hopefully someone has posted a solution for them and hopefully that solution will work for you!

If that still doesn't help then you can post about your bx error code at the Blogger Help Groups. You first have to sign up and join but this is free!

After you post about your bx error code, hopefully someone will reply (hopefully one of the Blogger.com employees) with an answer - and hopefully a solution.

If that still proves to provide no results you can then report your bx error code problem to Blogger.com directly by clicking on the link titled "Report Your BX Error Code Problem that is provided on the right side of this blog.

BX Error Codes - Latestest Poll Results!

Here are the latest poll results from my The Blog Consultant Blog asking for people's opinions on why Blogger.com doesn't know about the bypass procedure.

As you can see a majority of the people who have voted have said that there is no bypass procedure and of course the most likely reason for them voting this way is because they don't know what the bypass procedure is.

I have posted many times on this blog about when the bypass procedure has worked for me when I have gotten some of the bx error codes. I have even had one person say to me that (in their opinion) Blogger.com already knows about the bypass procedure but they aren't telling the bloggers (or anyone else) about it!

It has been brought to my attention that this kind of situation can be compared to Microsoft in that when they are bugs to be fixed, the solutions are provided by those other than the people that work at Microsoft!

There have been a couple of votes who think that Blogger.com knows about the bypass procedure and either they are not providing it or that they don't care!

You still have some time left to vote in this poll and let your opinion be known!

"How Do I Delete This BX Error Code?"

Basically speaking if you get a bx error code you can't just simply "delete" it! Blogger.com has said that a lot of these bx error codes are temporary so you may want to wait a while to see if the problem solves itself. But if you continue to get the bx error code then you can report it to Blogger.com by clicking on the link that I have provided on the right side of this blog (It's the "Report Your BX Error Code Problem" link)

A lot depends also too on what you were doing when you got the bx error code. There have been some bx error code problems that I have been able to solve using the bypass procedure - however this bypass procedure hasn't solved all of the bx error code problems - just some of them.

So its not just a simple matter of being able to delete the bx error code so that you can continue to work on your blog. Probably the best solution - besides the bypass procedure - is for you first to wait and see if the problem solves itself and if it doesn't then report it to Blogger.com so that they can be aware of it and start to work on the solution.

Solution! - for those publishing via FTP - when changing the password on your web host's site, don't forget to update your Blogger account panel's FTP information with the same new password.

About Reporting Your BX Error Code........

If and when you receive a bx error code, one of the first things that you should know is that one of the Blogger.com employees has said that a lot of the bx error codes are temporary, so you may want to give it a few days to see if the problem solves itself.

Another thing (that is new) is that now Blogger.com wants you to search for the bx error code to see if there is any more information about it - and hopefully a solution to it.

However if you can't find a solution, then you can report the bx error code to Blogger.com so that they can look into it further.

I have seen the bx error code reporting form and it will ask you a few basic and simple questions:

  • what is the specific bx error code that you are getting?

  • describe what you were doing when you got the bx error code

  • include the url of your blog

  • what browser were you using

    • Internet Explore (which version?_

    • Safari

    • Firefox

    • Other

Latest Poll Results! Were You Able To Solve Your BX Error Code Problem?

As you can see from the latest poll results, the majority of people have posted that they weren't able to solve their bx error code problems!

There have been quite a few bx error code problems that I have been able to solve by using the bypass procedure. You can see a list of them by clicking here and here!

There have also been a couple of votes from those that have managed to solve their bx error code problems. (Which I have also posted about and provided a link to). Of those that have posted that they were able to solve their bx error code problem(s) - some of the methods that they have described - about half of them have been quite complicated - including solutions that require you to go into the template of your blog to fix the problem! Other solutions have been more simple - such as clearing one's cookines and cache and then re-starting one's browser. However the bypass procedure just involves a few keystrokes BUT it hasn't solved ALL of the bx error codes that I have been getting - but it has solved the majority of them!

Hopefully Blogger.com will be providing a solution for the bx error code problems soon!

a blogger.com blogger posted that they had been trying to publish a post on their blog for the past 2 hours and getting this bx error code. Although they can save their post they aren't able to publish their blog post so that it appears on their blog.

As I have said many times before, an employee from Blogger.com has posted that a lot of these bx error codes are temporary so you may want to wait a few days to see if the problem solves itself. However if you continue to get the bx error code then you can report it to Blogger.com by clicking on the link that is provided on the right side of this blog.

another bx error code associated with trying to upload a new template

it is possible that the template that you are trying to add is corrupt or missing some coding. It is best to go back to the site where you got the template to see if there have been problems posted by others who have also tried to use the template.

this bx error code was received when a blogger was attempting to edit their template to include the Stumble Upon Code from their site

Unfortunately when getting bx error codes that have to do with editing one's template, the problem could be that the editing of the template has resulted in the template's coding being corrupted or missing!

If you are sure that the editing that you have done is correct then you can report the bx error code to Blogger.com by clicking on the link provided in the right column of this blog.

Like Blogger.com has said, a lot of these bx error codes are temporary. I mention this because I don't seem to remember any other bx error codes relating to adding comments on other peoples' blogs.

It could just be some temporary "glitch" kind of thing.

a blogger posted that they got this bx error code when they were trying to change their template

As I have said many times before, the bx error codes having to do with changing the template may have come about because the template that you are trying to change to may have some corrupt or missing coding in it and that is why it is not being accepted by Blogger.com's format.

*I have also mentioned that I have sometimes gotten bx error codes having to do with template issues on my Different Blog Layouts blog when I'm changing templates. But so far I have been able to solve those problems by either messing around with the coding or using the bypass procedure to work on the blog (and the template) some more.

You can click the links below to go to blog posts about similar bx error codes that have to do with changing and/or editing one's blog template.

bX-cxj2f3

after making changes to their blog, a blogger posted that they got the above bx error code when they tried to view their blog.

when some of these bx error codes have to do with the altering of a template, then the problem could very well be that the changes you have made to your template are causing you to get this bx error code!

While I have gotten template-related bx error codes when working with my Different Blog Layouts Blog, I have successfully been able to use the bypass procedure to be able to work on my blog, however the bypass procedure does NOT allow a questionable template to be accepted!

According to Blogger.com, the post editor is trying to display too many posts.

Blogger.com suggests that you limit the number of posts (maximum of 10) that you are trying to display at one time!

This seems to be one of the bx error codes for whch there seems to be a known solution besides the bypass procedure.

Blogger.com has posted this solution!

a blogger posted that they got this bx error code when they were trying to add an Adsense gadget to their blog.

One of the Blogger.com employees has posted that when someone gets a bx error code having to do with adding Adsense to their blogs one of the reasons could be that you have not yet given Blogger.com permission to add the ad codes to your site.

You have to go through that process first before you can add the Adsense gadget to your blog.

Update!

Blogger.com has posted about this specific bx error code and says that they are working on fixing the problem. However they do have a work-around-solution for you while they work on solving the problem and you can click this link to read their blog post about it.

So the solution may work for some but not for others.

A blogger posted that they got this bx error code when they were trying to view the feed for their blog. They also posted that they tried changing their template as well as disabling/enabling the the feed with no luck.

I think that this may be perhaps where the problem lies in that when they changed their template some missing or corrupt coding was added and that is why they are having so much trouble!

While the bypass procedure does not let you add a template with corrupted or missing coding it WILL let you be able to work on your blog again so that you can work with the problem that you are having!

It is possible that they template that you are trying to add is corrupted or missing some coding. You may have to go through the ENTIRE template to find out if any of the html / xml coding is missing or corrupt!

You should also go back to the site where you got the blog template because there may be the possibility that other people have been having problems with the template as well. I Got Another BX Error Code And Was Able To Get Out Of It!

bX-owfknv

Working on one of my blogs, I got this bx error code when I was making changes to my blog template! It wasn't one of those third-party blog templates but one of Blogger.com's own templates!

To be more specific what I was doing at the time that I got this particular bx error code was that I was editing my blog's htm / xml coding so that I wouldn't get a border around one of my blog pictures!

I saved the changes I made and when I clicked on save - that is when I got the above bx error code screen!

But guess what? I was able to use the bypass procedure to get to my blog's template and then I clicked to view the changes that I made

and the changes that I made were there!

Sunday, October 5, 2008

bX-994eaq

this is another one of those bx error codes that at least one blogger has gotten for trying to upload a new / different third-party xml blog template!

After they uploaded the template and tried to save it they got the above bx error code.

As I have said before about the bx error codes that have to do with trying to upload third-party blog templates - there is just something in that template's coding that is not being accepted by Blogger.com and that is why you're not able to use the third-party template that you have tried to upload.

You can report the error to the Blogger.com staff, but you should first check and make sure that the template that you are trying to use doesn't have any missing or corrupted coding in it first!

One of the most often suggested suggestions for trying to get rid of the bx error code message is to clear your cache and cookies and then re-boot your computer -

I can appreciate the fact that having the problem may hurt your blog but you haven't even mentioned what you were trying to do to your blog in the first place. I really don't know how you could expect someone to help you with solving the problem when we don't know exactly how you got to the problem in the first place.

My bypass procedure has solved all of my bx error code problems so far. From time to time I will do a little testing - which means that I try to get a bx error code on purpose just to see if the bypass procedure continues to work and I have not been disappointed yet.

If you can not get the bypass procedure from Blogger.com then only you can decide what you are going to do next! You can only get the bypass procedure from Blogger.com and if they say that there is no such thing - then it is up to you to decide what you are going to do next!

About The BX Error Code Bypass Procedure!

Below is one of the most recent comments that I have gotten:

"I can't help but notice that you don't actually provide solution to the bX problems here. Of course your efforts to acquaint us with means to contacting blogger are no less helpful. Won't it do us good though if you could write about the actual bypass procedure?

Keep up the good work!
"

It would probably do bloggers a LOT of good if I "could write about the actual bypass procedure" but I guess you didn't read this blog post (which is unfortunate because it is the blog post that you are commenting on!) because it specifically states that you have to contact Blogger.com and ask them to give it to you!

I Found Out Something Very Interesting About The Bypass Procedure As Far As Having Template Problems......

I was having problems adding a footer widget to my Different Blog Layouts Blog and I got one of those "infamous" bx error codes!

Well I already knew that the BX Error Code Bypass Procedure wouldn't solve a corrupted template problem BUT what it did solve was the fact that I was still able to work on my blog!

I uploaded a blog template called Libra01 and the upload went along fine. HOWEVER when I tried to add a gadget / widget to the footer of this template I got the bx error code - bX-o0roki.

So far it seems that the bx error code bypass procedure doesn't work with this BUT so far I have solved this problem by just not adding anything to the footer of this blog.

this bx error code occurred when a blogger was trying to change the "links" in their blog. After they changed the links and tried to publish their blog they got this bx error code.

What The Bypass Procedure WON'T Work With!

I see that a lot of people are having problems and getting bx error codes when they are either changing the html of their blog or when they are trying to upload a new template for their blog.

THIS is one occasion where the bypass procedure will NOT work!

The problem is that the reason why your template adjustment is not being accepted by Blogger.com is because the coding is either corrupt or their is a missing tag in the coding somewhere.

Unfortunately you are going to have to go over the ENTIRE coding to see if there is any missing or corrupt html coding!

Blogger.com & The Bypass Procedure?

I have been talking with another person about Blogger.com and the problems that they are having with so many people getting the bx error codes. (This person too has also found a solution for the bx error code problem too!)

However if you are still having the problem then you should report it to Blogger.com. Actually this seems to be one of the case where the bypass procedure HAS worked! There have been times when I have tried to include a picture with one of my blog posts only to get one of the infamous bx error codes.

However even though the bypass procedure has worked in instances like this I have come to find that there have been times when I have uploaded a picture to my blog and viewed it just to make sure that the picture itself had been included only to view the blog later and see that instead of the picture I see the infamous box with the red square in it!

Sometimes the picture is there and sometimes it's not!

If you are trying to make changes in your template then the template itself could be corrupt in some way and you may have to go over it line by line until you find out what part of the template is wrong.

bx-d3so7

I got this bx error code when changing from my blogger account to a client's blogger account. I thought 'what a great time to use the bypass procedure to get out of the error code screen' - but guess what?

The bypass procedure didn't work!

Now I was using a different browser that I never used the bypass procedure on before so I decided to try it again and still it didn't work! But guess what?

I was still able to get back to posting on my client's blog!

Not only does this tell me that the bypass procedure doesn't seem to work in all browsers (or all cases) but there is more than one way to get out of the bx error code screen!

This is the 2nd solution that I have found for getting out of the bx error code screen (and another person has posted yet another solution for the bx error code problem!)yet and still Blogger.com has not mentioned either of these methods!

I find it so hard to believe that Blogger.com isn't aware of these 2 simple methods for getting out of the bx error code screens. Although in their defense it may just be a case of them being too close to the problem and not being able to see the forest for the trees!

8/31/08 - Update! - got this same bx error code today! And while it wasn't the bypass procedure that got me back to working on the blog there was a way that I managed to get back to my Blogger.com dashboard so that I could add a new post!

this is another bx error code that seems to have to do with adding a new template. Even if you have your own domain url!

someone posted that they got this bx error code when they were trying to add a new template.

Sometimes when these bx error codes have to do with adding new / different templates (other than Blogger.com's own templates) the problem could lie in the coding of the template itself. There could be corrupt coding or even some coding that is missing.

I have also seen it posted that you should try directly uploading the template xml instead of copying and pasting it as the later sometimes adds unnecessary coding.

If blogger.com isn't accepting the template then there has to be something wrong with the template itself!

The bypass procedure will not let you get away at adding a corrupted-coded blog template BUT it will let you to be able to work on your blog.

trying to add feedjit tracker

You may also get the message:

"that the widget cannot be added because one does not have a sectionID"

Other bloggers have been getting this error code when:

  • trying to add the bookmark widget by Addthis

  • when trying to add certain music-related gadets / widgets

Possible Solution(s)?

since this particular bx error code seems to do with adding coding it is possible that the coding that you are trying to add is corrupt or missing some html coding. If that is the case then Blogger won't be able to accept it.

You should first check and make sure that you copied and pasted the coding correctly before you report the bx error code to Blogger.com.

blog "layout" error

There have been quite a few people posting that they have been having problems and receiving bx error codes when they were trying to upload a new template.

It could very well be possible that there is a problem with the template itself. The html coding of the template could be corrupt and /or there could be some missing tags in the html coding itself. If any of these are the case then Blogger won't be able to accept the template until the problem(s) is corrected.

I have started a new blog about different blog layouts because I kept seeing all these gorgeous different blog layouts and I might see one that I would like to use as my own.

Of the one blog template that I have uploaded to that blog, I have not gotten a bx error code - so far!

Now you may be wondering whether or not the bypass procedure would work in this instance? The answer is yes and no! While no bypass procedure in the world is going to solve a corrupt template problem, the bypass will you to be able to work on your blog.

The Blogger.com's BX Error Code blog has said that this bx error code occurs becasue the template that you are trying to use for your blog is invalid. There could be corrupt html coding and/or there code be html code that is missing.

Blogger.com has said that uou can get rid of this error by either removing the post template altogether or by editing it on

bX-btcv0r

This seems to be a very popular bx error code!

If you have gotten this error code because you were trying to add / modify your template, it has been suggested by one of the Blogger.com employees that the problem could lie with the template itself! For instance, if you are trying to add a new template and get this error code it could be possible that the html coding is corrupt in some kind of way. There is also the possibility that there may be some html coding that is missing. In these instances the new templates won't be accepted by Blogger.com because there is either something wrong with them or the html coding is corrupt in some way.

so far it seems that this bx error code comes up when trying to add blog list (one of Blogger.com's newest features)

this has also happened to me on a few occassions

there also seems to be the problem of one trying to add a specific blog but the return message says that the blog does not have a feed. If you are sure that you are entering in the right url for the blog list - then so far the best piece of advice seems to be to wait and try it again at a later time.

when trying to publish a post with a video in it

Here is a solution that has been provided by Mary Grace:

try deleting the video from the post, then adding it back in and publish. That worked for me. If that doesn't work, then try editing the video
slightly, saving it, adding it back into the post and publishing.

I was trying to post a reply to a post from someone who was getting this particular error code and for some reason errors kept occuring when I was trying to answer the post so I'm going to post my reply here:

Just click the link below because it will take you to a thread specifically about this particular bx error code

bX-l9wb71 error code discussion

"There Is NO Bypass System For The BX Error Code Screen!"

I was going over some of my notes today and noticed that I got a reply from someone saying that there is no bypass procedure for the bx error code screen.

Unfortunately they are wrong in this respect. I have been using the bypass procedure for the past few months now whenever I get one of those dreaded bx error code screens! I haven't gotten the bx error code screen for a few weeks now and I'm wondering if I should try to get one of them on purpose just to make sure that the bypass procedure works.

So far it has worked whenever I get the bx error code screen message when I'm trying to post to my blog, add pictures to my blog or do some editing to the widgets and page elements that I have on my blogs. I also use the bypass procedure when I'm working on my clients' blogs as well!

I have to say that some of the more recent bx error code problems that people are posting about have to do with uploading their images - which I don't have ANY problems with now - and uploading their videos.

I tried uploading a video to my Test Blog and while it took a while to upload the video it did finally upload.

The recent problems that Blogger.com has been having with people posting and saying that their blogs were false-ly accussed of being a spam blog has been acknowledged by Blogger.com and they say that they are currently working on the problem. - This is one situation where I know that the bypass procedure won't work - but really I can't say for sure 'cause I didn't try it on that when one of my client's blog was flagged as a spam blog. - (my client's blog has since been restored!_

I really have to smile when some "expert" tells me that there is no bypass procedure for getting out of (some of) the bx error code screens because I use it EVERYTIME I get one of those bx error code screens.....

AND IT WORKS EVERYTIME!

This seems to be a particularly nasty bx error code because it doesn't let a person view their blog at all!

One person has posted that they got this bx error code when they were trying to change the layout of their blog.

Once a person types in their blog's url their blog doesn't come up at all and the screen shows this bx error code message. Not only can't the person view their blog but nobody else can view their blog as well!

If you (or other visitors) go to one of your specific blog posts then you (and the visitors) may be able to see that individual post itself.

August 9, 2008 - Blogger.com has posted that they have fixed the underlying problem and that the blogs should now no longer receive the bX-l9wb71 error code.

8/8/08 - Blogger.com has now said that they are aware of this problem and are working to fix it.

Blogger.com is manually fixing this bx error code for those who have posted to this Blogger.com message board. Some bloggers have already posted that their blogs have been fixed!

What Is A BX Error Code?

According to the latest poll results, there have been a few people who have cast their vote for "What is a bx error code?

If you have a blog on Blogger.com and you go to work on your blog, you may get an "error that comes up saying that there was a problem with what you were trying to do with your blog. Also included will be a bx error code number that you are supposed to report to Blogger.com.

Now Blogger.com has said that a lot of these error codes are temporary meaning that you may want to give it a few days to see if the problem solves itself.

Some people have managed to solve their bx error code problems themselves and will sometimes post the solutions that have worked for them on the Blogger.com message boards. There have also been suggestions by the Blogger.com employees mainly that one should try clearing their cache and cookies and then re-loading their browsers - some people have posted that this solution has worked for them.

However its really hard to say exactly how one can solve their bx error code problem. Sometimes it can be solved on the blogger's end and sometimes not - but there seems to be no one solution for everyone - with maybe the exception of the bypass procedure.

So its not a simple case of posting to the Blogger.com help boards and saying "Please fix it now.......... - as I have seen some people post.

From what I understand the link that appears when you get one of those bx error code messages takes you to one of the Blogger.com help message boards and I'm assuming that the link goes there because Blogger.com wants people to post the problems that they are having with their blog(s). Hopefully someone who has had the same problem will see the / your post and offer solutions that have worked for them. Sometimes even one of the Blogger.com employees will reply to the posts offering help and suggestions.

But the best thing to do is simply report the bx error code to Blogger.com by clicking here. That will take you to a link to the official Blogger.com form where you can report the bx error code problem that you are having. When enough people report it to Blogger.com then they will assign someone to look into it further.

You can try other methods on your own but not all of them work for everybody!

this bx error code came up when trying to update one's blog template

*A Blogger.com employee has said that when some of these bx error codes have to do with adding a new template, sometimes the template itself has some error in its html coding which means that Blogger.com can't accept it.

What do you do in such a case?

Well you'll have to go over the html coding of the template that you want to add and make sure that the html coding is correct and that it doesn't have any missing closing tags or any missing html coding.

If the html coding isn't completely correct then it won't be accepted as your new Blogger.com template

What Do We Know About The BX Error Codes So Far?

All we really know about the bx error codes - so far - is that they occur when something goes wrong with what one is trying to do to their blog.

Blogger.com has said that the error code message has always been there (even before they changed to their new format). It's just that now they have assigned bx error code numbers to the error messages.

Blogger.com has said that the codes don't have any specific meaning to them - however there are a few bx error codes that have been posted about more than one time.

"How Long Until Blogger.com Contacts Me After I Report My BX Error Code Problem?"

According to one of Blogger.com's articles they don't generally
contact someone UNLESS they need more information about what it is
that you are reporting.

Also too, enough people have to report the error and I am assuming
that this is because Blogger.com has said that a lot of these bx error
codes are temporary - meaning you might want to give it a few days to
see if the problem solves itself.

It has also been suggested by one of the Blogger.com employees that
you might want to try to clear your cache and cookies and then re-load
your browser. Some people have posted that this has worked for them.
