this bx error code was received when a blogger was trying to change the layout on their blog

The most possible solution to this is for you to go back to the back-up copy of your blog's template - hopefully you have copied a back-up of your current template BEFORE you make any changes or modifications to it.

this is another bx error code that has been associated with not being able to publish one's blog post.

This is one instance where the bypass procedure has successfully worked for me

If you continue to get this bx error code then you can report it to Blogger.com by clicking on the link that is provided on the right side of this blog.

this is another bx error code that has been associated with trying to upload a template. When clicking on the upload button this is (one of ) the bx error code that comes up.

Here is a link to my previous blog posts about bx error codes having to do with uploading a new template.

As I have said before the problem may be that the template that you are trying to upload has missing and / or corrupt coding in it and that is why it is not being accepted. It may become necessary for you to have to go through the entire coding of the template to see if you can spot what the problem is.

It would also help if you mentioned the name of the third-party template that you were trying to upload / use and where you got it from. Someone else may have had the same problem and hopefully managed to solve it.

If you still feel that the template is not the problem then you can report your bx error code to Blogger.com by clicking on the link provided on the left side of this blog, "Report Your BX Error Code Here!

this bx error code came up when someone was trying to post a video to their blog.

(You can read about my attempts to upload a video by going to my Test Blog)

If you are having problems uploading a video to your blog on Blogger.com then you can report the problem that you are having to them by clicking here and reporting the problem that you are having to Blogger.com. I have seen one of the Blogger.com employees post that when reporting this problem to please include the size of the video that you are trying to upload and the format of the video that you were trying to upload.

This is one of those instances where the bypass procedure has successfully worked for me! While I did not get this specific bx error code the one that I did get was able to be worked around!

bx-nlqog

Here is a comment that someone left me on this blog. Since this bx error code hasn't been posted on this blog, now would be a good time to give it its own label!

"I found your blog quite interesting for the bx error.
I just started a new blog and I have a bx error!!
I didn't find my error on your blog so I put it here.
My error is bx-nlqog

The error happened when I changed my blog template. And it's always the same error.

I don't really know what to do !!

The usual reason for getting a bx error code when it involves templates is that there is the possibility that the template that you are trying to use has some missing or corrupted coding on it and that is why you are having the problems as far as the bx error code is concerned.

It may become necessary for you to go through that template's coding to see if you can spot where the error(s) are.

As far as third-party templates go a lot of credit has to go to those who have created them because a lot of them provide helpful and useful information to those who are having problems using their template. The original creators of the templates have graciously gave grant to others to use their templates for free and without costing them any money - so they really should be thanked for that! (This is also meant for you to go back to the site where you got the template to see if you can find any additional information or see if anyone else has been having problems with using that same template.)

Unfortunately one of the only real solutions is for you to find out why the template that you want to use is not being accepted and that's going to mean going through the template's coding to find any errors. I, myself have gotten bx error codes when working with different blog templates - mostly on my Different Blog Layouts Blog. But when it has happened to me I have successfully managed to use the bypass procedure. However the bypass procedure doesn't let a corrupt template go through - it just lets you be able to work on your blog so that you can perhaps correct the error or use another template.

If all else fails you can report the bx error code to Blogger.com. You can find the link by looking on the right side of this blog!

"How Can I Fix My BX Error Code Problem?"

Again this question has been asked and again here is a reply that I posted in response to it:

There have been numerous suggestions as to how to "fix" the bx error codes problem.

One popular suggestion is for you to clear both your cache and cookies and then reload your browser - some people have posted that this has worked for them.

When some of these bx error codes have to do with adding / modifying coding - a likely cause could be that the coding is corrupt or missing or that you possibly copied and pasted it wrong.

From what I understand Blogger.com has said that a lot of these bx error codes are temporary so you may want to wait and give it a few days to see if the problem solves itself.

Next they would like you to do a search for the bx error code that you are getting - hopefully someone else has posted about it (and hopefully have provided a solution).

If you can find anything during your search then you can start a thread about the specific bx error code and post about it.

Then if all else fails you can then report the bx error code problem to Blogger.com by clicking on "Resources" on the right side of this page and that will take you to a link where you can report the bx error code problem that you are having.

When enough people report it then Blogger.com will assign someone to look into it further.

a blogger posted that they got this bx error code when they were trying to preview a template that they uploaded.

Most likely the culprit is that the template that was uploaded had some corrupt and / or missing coding in it. It may become necessary for you to go through the entire template's coding just to see if you can find the corrupted or missing coding.

here is a post from a blogger:

Hello: I have custom domains on all my blogger account and am getting this error: bX-yzmwps Everything works fine until I publish a post and thats when the error shows up. It appears that the post is being published fine - though I get this error each and everytime. I have been using Chrome and try to use internet explorer and get same..(results)

Even though I don't use custom domains with my blogger.com blogs, I have successfully managed to use the bypass procedure when I have gotten a bx error code having to do with publishing a blog post

bX-al2pcp - The ByPass Procedure Has Worked Again!

I got this bx error code when I was making changes to one of my blog templates. After I got the bx error code I tried the bypass procedure even though I knew it didn't work with problems relating to third-party templates being accepted.

But guess what? It worked! The changes that I made to my template were actually published and now viewable in my blog!

For some time now I have been blogging about the bypass procedure not actually being able to work when the problem has to do with one's template being accepted - although it does still let you work on your blog......

but it definitely worked this time!

occurred when trying to redirect one's blog to another web address / url

There could be a lot of reasons for this kind of thing happening and one of those could be that it is only a temporary kind of problem - meaning that you should wait a while and see if you are able to do it at a later time.

If not then one of the first things that Blogger.com suggest you do is to do a search for this particular bx error code in the Blogger Help Group to see if anyone else has posted about this particular bx error code. If not then you can start your own post about it and if you don't receive any help or find a solution then you can report the bx error code to Blogger.com by clicking on the link "Report Your BX Error Code Problem" that is provided on the right side of this blog.

this bx error code was posted about when someone was trying to edit the layout on one of their blogs.

The problem could lie in the fact that when you were trying to edit your blog's layout you corrupted the coding of the coding in some way.

Me And The BX Error Codes!

I haven't gotten any bx error codes in the last few weeks. I have managed to successfully upload a short 5 second .avi video and I have also managed to upload pictures successfully to my and my clients' blogs.

Actually to tell you the truth I get quite excited when I DO get one of those bx error codes because it gives me a chance to see if the bypass procedure will work!

Every time I have gotten a bx error code in the last several months I have managed to get out of it one way or another.

So it possible to do so.

The next time that I get a bx error code message I will post about it here.

a blogger posted that they got this bx error code when they were trying to upload a third-party blog template to use as their own.

There have been quite a few bx error codes having to do with this kind of thing and as I have said before the problem could lie within the template's coding itself. The most probable reason is that the template has some missing or corrupted coding in it.

It may become necessary for you to go through the entire template coding to see if you can find the problem.

A lot of these third-party template sites will have comments from others who have also tried using the template and have encounter problems doing so - so you should re-visit the page where you got the template to see if there is any related information about other people having problems with using it.

As I have posted on this blog before about the bypass procedure - it does not solve the problem of not being able to upload a possible corrupted third-party blog template. When I have received a bx error code when trying to upload a new template - mostly to my Different Blog Layouts Blog the bypass procedure doesn't allow for the third-party template to be accepted however it does allow me to work on my blog - thus allowing me to make changes and possibly see how I can correct the problems on the blog template so that it can be accepted by Blogger.com!

"When I try to log in I get this message: bX-tu3f3q Anyone have any ideas of what this means and how I can over ride it to log in?"

Simply put it means that you are getting one of the "infamous" bx error codes! It just simply means that something went wrong when you were trying to do something with your blog - in your specific case you got this bx error code when you were trying to log in.

A LOT of people have been getting bx error codes (that's one of the reasons why I decided to start this blog) so you are not alone in getting them!

Generally speaking you cannot "override a bx error code! Although there have been some people who have posted different solutions to different bx error code problems, there is not one way to over-ride ALL bx error codes!

Blogger.com has said that a lot of these bx error codes are temporary so you may want to wait a few days to see if the problem solves itself.

One of the most often-giving suggestions for a solution (suggested by one of the Blogger.com employees) is that you first try to clear your cache and cookies and then re-start your browser. A lot of people have posted that this has worked for them.

If these solutions haven't solved your problem then the next that Blogger.com suggests that you do is to do a search for your specific bx error - hopefully someone has posted a solution for them and hopefully that solution will work for you!

If that still doesn't help then you can post about your bx error code at the Blogger Help Groups. You first have to sign up and join but this is free!

After you post about your bx error code, hopefully someone will reply (hopefully one of the Blogger.com employees) with an answer - and hopefully a solution.

If that still proves to provide no results you can then report your bx error code problem to Blogger.com directly by clicking on the link titled "Report Your BX Error Code Problem that is provided on the right side of this blog.

BX Error Codes - Latestest Poll Results!

Here are the latest poll results from my The Blog Consultant Blog asking for people's opinions on why Blogger.com doesn't know about the bypass procedure.

As you can see a majority of the people who have voted have said that there is no bypass procedure and of course the most likely reason for them voting this way is because they don't know what the bypass procedure is.

I have posted many times on this blog about when the bypass procedure has worked for me when I have gotten some of the bx error codes. I have even had one person say to me that (in their opinion) Blogger.com already knows about the bypass procedure but they aren't telling the bloggers (or anyone else) about it!

It has been brought to my attention that this kind of situation can be compared to Microsoft in that when they are bugs to be fixed, the solutions are provided by those other than the people that work at Microsoft!

There have been a couple of votes who think that Blogger.com knows about the bypass procedure and either they are not providing it or that they don't care!

You still have some time left to vote in this poll and let your opinion be known!

"How Do I Delete This BX Error Code?"

Basically speaking if you get a bx error code you can't just simply "delete" it! Blogger.com has said that a lot of these bx error codes are temporary so you may want to wait a while to see if the problem solves itself. But if you continue to get the bx error code then you can report it to Blogger.com by clicking on the link that I have provided on the right side of this blog (It's the "Report Your BX Error Code Problem" link)

A lot depends also too on what you were doing when you got the bx error code. There have been some bx error code problems that I have been able to solve using the bypass procedure - however this bypass procedure hasn't solved all of the bx error code problems - just some of them.

So its not just a simple matter of being able to delete the bx error code so that you can continue to work on your blog. Probably the best solution - besides the bypass procedure - is for you first to wait and see if the problem solves itself and if it doesn't then report it to Blogger.com so that they can be aware of it and start to work on the solution.

"Help!!! Trying to upload a jpg to the blog and getting an error message stating that the blogID is blank. The error message number is: bX-xdwhgh further info given in the error message is: host: www2.blogger.com uri: /upload-image.do What's a girl to do?"

Solution! - for those publishing via FTP - when changing the password on your web host's site, don't forget to update your Blogger account panel's FTP information with the same new password.

As I have said many times before, Blogger.com has said that a lot of these bx error codes are temporary so you may want to wait a while and see if the problem solves itself.

So far I haven't had any problems uploading photos to my (or my clients') blogs - so far! I haven't had to use the bypass procedure in these kinds of instances - yet! - LOL!

About Reporting Your BX Error Code........

If and when you receive a bx error code, one of the first things that you should know is that one of the Blogger.com employees has said that a lot of the bx error codes are temporary, so you may want to give it a few days to see if the problem solves itself.

Another thing (that is new) is that now Blogger.com wants you to search for the bx error code to see if there is any more information about it - and hopefully a solution to it.

However if you can't find a solution, then you can report the bx error code to Blogger.com so that they can look into it further.

I have seen the bx error code reporting form and it will ask you a few basic and simple questions:

  • what is the specific bx error code that you are getting?

  • describe what you were doing when you got the bx error code

  • include the url of your blog

  • what browser were you using

    • Internet Explore (which version?_

    • Safari

    • Firefox

    • Other

Then you can submit the information by pressing the "Submit button.

You can report your bx error code problem by clicking the link below:

Latest Poll Results! Were You Able To Solve Your BX Error Code Problem?

As you can see from the latest poll results, the majority of people have posted that they weren't able to solve their bx error code problems!

There have been quite a few bx error code problems that I have been able to solve by using the bypass procedure. You can see a list of them by clicking here and here!

There have also been a couple of votes from those that have managed to solve their bx error code problems. (Which I have also posted about and provided a link to). Of those that have posted that they were able to solve their bx error code problem(s) - some of the methods that they have described - about half of them have been quite complicated - including solutions that require you to go into the template of your blog to fix the problem! Other solutions have been more simple - such as clearing one's cookines and cache and then re-starting one's browser. However the bypass procedure just involves a few keystrokes BUT it hasn't solved ALL of the bx error codes that I have been getting - but it has solved the majority of them!

Hopefully Blogger.com will be providing a solution for the bx error code problems soon!

However if you continue to get the bx error code then you can report it to Blogger.com by clicking on the link that is provided on the right side of this blog.

another bx error code associated with trying to upload a new template

it is possible that the template that you are trying to add is corrupt or missing some coding. It is best to go back to the site where you got the template to see if there have been problems posted by others who have also tried to use the template.
